UNICEF – Education Cannot Wait (ECW)

The EIE project is targeting girls/boys for providing distance learning education during the covid-19 pandemic in Nimroz and Kandahar with following strategic interventions:

  1. Support the Ministry of Education on provision of distance and other alternative learnings for primary and secondary students through radio and TV as well building capacity of teachers during this time;
  2. Community awareness campaign to promote prevention measures with specific focus on high risk areas;
  3. Improvement of hygiene and sanitation situation in schools/CBEs in high risk areas;
  4. Mental health and psychosocial support for children;
